Campus Ministry for Dummies

Well we had a relatively smooth travel day to Krakow, Poland!!  God is so good.  We met up with Shae and his son Phillip at the Krakow Airport and he took us to our amazing Hostel.  We brought some football equipment donated by the Ryburn Motor Company for Phillip and one of his buddies!!  He was glowing when we showed it to him!!  Shae said he wanted to wear it to sleep!!

We went to bed around 9 and woke up this morning at 7.  We are 6 hours ahead of our friends and family back in Arkansas but it seems we have had a flawless transition to the time change.  We will be leaving shortly for church this sunday morning.  We will be thinking and praying for our church family at journey!!  I will be leading worship for the international service tonight at 6 so pray that the Lord will use me to bless not only Himself but the people that will be there!!

We meet up with the rest of our group from Bryant as they will be coming in later this afternoon.  Football camp starts tomorrow!!  We loaded up with groceries this morning from the store so we should be good and energized!!

Be praying for Clark Butler, Mike McDaniel and myself as we will be in Krakow, Poland these next 8 days!!  Pray that the Lord will move through us and we will be aware and willing when He presents us with oppourtunities to share our faith!!  See ya in 8 days!!

Im so blessed to be able to gather with my bretheren and sistren at journey church this morning and worship our King!!!  I am currently listening to Jeff and Adelyn practice their special for this morning!!  That girl can really sing!!  Oh and Jeff isn’t so bad on the guitar either

Jeff will be preaching on the sermon on the mount as well as taking us through the Lords supper this morning. Josh and I will be leading the group in worship with songs written about the blood of Christ and His deliverance!!

Its looking like this is going to be an amazing morning!!  We would love if you could join us sometime!!

Don’t you feel blessed to be in a country and situation that we are in to be able to gather with our friends and families across our nation and worship an Everlasting God this morning!!!

We are so fortunate to be able to gather with the saints and not face persecution and danger.

This is not so for thousands of other Christians that live across our world in nations and countries that do not support their will to worship our Savior….

Let us be mindful of the persecuted church on a day where you freely worshiped in yours.

Well after a successful trip to Humble, TX last week for Humble Area First Baptists‘ “Untitled” weekend, Tracy and I are leading two of the boys groups this weekend for First Baptist Monticello.  I really look forward to these weekends because I remember how much I loved when older guys would come spend the weekend with us and pour a little of themselves into us.  It is a great example of jump start discipleship because a lot of the kids that show up have never had much needed discipleship.  It also never fails that one child over the weekend realizes they are lost and is brought into a loving relationship with the Father!!

I hope you guys keep the youth of First Baptist Humble and Monticello in your prayers!!  Oh yea and PLEASE pray for Tracy and I!!!

Well its been a couple months since I have begged for money but here I go again!!!

When Jeff returned from Poland back in October and shared with us at journey what the Lord had done in his heart through the trip I instantly felt called to go!!!  For those of you that have felt a call it is something that is hard to explain….its like being addicted to coffee and what the smell of it does to you!!!!  Except this is infinitely stronger!!!

I was so blessed to be able to go to South Africa this past December and January.  Through that trip God further revealed to me the call He has put on my life for global missions.  I can’t ever begin to explain to you the excitement that is surround us as we prepare to go on this trip….
